Chrysanthemum x morifolium
Since 2003 they keep growing and growing
I just thin them out each year and fill in areas that need color. These bloom at least twice a year. We cut them to ground level after and they keep coming back like wildfire. Who would have know that the pot of flowers for my father's funeral would end up being absolutely gorgeous!

I've never been a "mum" person, but this year, I can't stop myself from buying them.

Chrysanthemum 'Blushing Emily'
A fairly hardy mum that I grow in pots and put into a cold frame for the winter. Haven't tried growing it in a bed yet, since the drainage in my garden is not very good in most places and it would surely rot over the winter without the proper drainage.

This grows very easy but I wish it had more blooms and lasted throughout the season like my pin cushion flower.
